Somalia is a country in transition. Al Shabaab no longer controls the capital Mogadishu, and a new government has people feeling optimistic about the country’s future. But there are still more than 1.3 million internally displaced people throughout Somalia – with hundreds of thousands in Mogadishu alone. And even though the city is experiencing newfound revitalization, this population remains highly vulnerable.
